I'm not a big fan of Spiderman, but I love the Carnage villian. These symbiotes in the Marvel universe are generally bad things, this one happened to attach itself to a serial killer Cletus Kasady who himself enjoyed cutting people up for the joy of cutting them up. He treats murder as an art medium.

In every instance, the prime motivation of the costume has been to take down Spider-Man. Fortunately for us, that hasn’t happened yet.
