As T-rump cucks are rather dim, I'd suggest the process may be inverted.

Yeah, that is probably more true. The pundits can say that Trump said anything they want and none of the idiots can really say whether he didn't. Trumps talking is like Rorschach test.

Slipping over on a patch of ice was less than impressive.
Landing flat on my back was not surprisingly, unpleasant.
Discovering I have five fractured ribs must be a world record!

I'm doped to the eyeballs, so I might sound like a jesus-freak for the next six weeks.

As much as I like 'dressing up', unfortunately not.
Anything tight restricts breathing, so its megatons of morphine and loads of painful hacking for a few weeks.
i reckon my skiing is fucked for the season, but at least there's the Winter Olympics to binge on. I'll probably fall over just watching it!

Did they offer/have you tried lidocaine patches? They can work quite well for some patients offering targetted pain relief from broken ribs and may mean that you don't have to take as many opiates systemically.

Alternatively, sometimes there are nerve blocks such an intercostal block or a paravertebral block that an anaesthetist can perform under ultrasound guidance.
Invisibility and nothingness look an awful lot alike.

Yes, I have lidocaine patches and they're doing a good localised job - I shall certainly keep them going.
I'm already cutting back on the serious dope and coping quite well - but I do miss a decent cough.
We did discuss nerve blocks, but my bank manager had other ideas!
Keeping up a bit of light activity seems to help the breathing, but my skis have been confiscated dammit ....... and try explaining to two rampant huskies why their 6 mile walks have been curtailed - they shredded a raccoon last night in protest! Ho hum.

Fuck! Sounds like you might need to get a treadmill for them until you're back on your feet...either that or get an equally rampant dog-walker!
