Sadly, it isn't.
We recently discussed this in this thread: http://ravingatheists.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7007
There is a Georgia legislator that is pushing for banning the teaching of evolution in public schools, on the basis that evolution (actually, they're arguing Big Bang and age of the universe, but they don't let facts get in the way of their stories) is really religious teachings of the Pharisees.
A Texas legislator passed on the good word from his Georgia buddy, and got in some hot water (not for the stupidity of the geocentric worldview, but for the anti-Semitic angle), and ended up apologizing.
in fact, Rep. Chisum was gloriously crowned as the Shitlord of the Week for this stunt.
But, all their crap is based on this guy's website, who appears to truly believe that the universe is spinning around the Earth.

I haven't clicked the link yet because I have a feeling it's not something I haven't seen before. Let me guess, it's the "flat earth society" isn't it?

No, it isn't, but just as stupid.

They may wear mansuits, but they're about as intelligent as opossums.
Note: I apologize to any opossums that might have been offended by my comment. It is not my intention to besmirch the reputation of the noble opossum.

My favorite has to be the whole "The earth can't be spinning and flying through space! We'd all be tossed off to our deaths! OMG OMG!!!! Therefore, the earth is (pick one) flat / stationary / hollow" argument.
I don't want people with such dubious math skills selling me nails at Home Depot, much less holding positions of power in government.

You pays your money, you gets your site.
The blessing/curse of the internet is that there is no factual accounting. You can say whatever-the-fuck you like (short of sedition and slander), and there is fuck-all anyone can do about it.

They are granted to the retards for our benefit. So that we may mock and ridicule them without mercy, and have a good virtual laugh at their expense.
Of course, the side effect is that some retards are so retarded that they actually buy into the retarded nonsense that the retards who created the retarded website created. Fucking retards.

Now, don't you give them that much credit dear darwinfish, if you look real well those web sites are far from been elegant, pretty, attractive or intelligent. I wouldn't call them web sites, i'd call them garbage disposals.

Don't discount the possibility that they have their eight-year-old cousins create the sites.
