On the 25th of July in Kerala, an intresting red rain fell that some scientists are speculating could possibly be evidence of panspermiation. They claim to have red fluid that contains cell like structures that precipitated during a rain which followed shortly after a meteor explosion in the area.

It would be intresting to see if anything comes of this, however i am very skeptical that these 'cell' structures actually descended form extraterrestrial origins.

There was a New Scientist article as well. I await developments with mild interest.
