Tell me, Lurker, do you like NASCAR and SEC or Big XII football?
I do watch a little NASCAR...very little in fact. I enjoy it once in a while but my problem is carving out the time to watch. My main sport is basketball, but I also enjoy football, baseball, soccer, and lots more. I all comes down to carving out time.

I'm training for a marathon as we speak. Ran one last year so I'm trying to better my time.

Hey, I liked Lurker's post, too, even with the egregious praying. Country music is not my first love (or my second or third, even), but I like some of it as an expression of who the artists are: Just down-to-earth folk giving voice to their unique experiences.

Thanks for sharing, Lurkie.
You're welcome. I really like Sugarland. Jennifer Nettles is easy on the eyes, and like I said, I love her voice. I enjoy a diverse mix of music but Country is near the top because of the down-to-earthiness you mentioned. Obviously I don't like all Country music so don't put me in that box. Here's a couple more...

Sugarland - Want To

Sugarland - Everyday America

Sugarland - Stay

Another reason to love a woman in jeans and t-shirt. A lot more rock and roll-ish, but with a country flare. She's the sister of another famous Wilson, can you guess which one??

Gretchen Wilson - Redneck Woman

Ha! He's ignoring us both! That means he's TWICE as unlikely to see it.

btw, that "beachfront property in Kansas" line is one of my personal favorites!

What's scary about this is that most of it is improv.

Nevermind.

Wait just a minute-You expect me to believe-That all this misbehaving-Grew from one enchanted tree? And helpless to fight it-We should all be satisfied-With this magical explanation-For why the living die-And why it's hard to be a decent human being - David Bazan

Ghoul got me inspired with his Imaginary Friend, cartoon so I had to use it at the end of this video, to tie everything in.

Christians and other folks infected with delusional beliefs think and reason like schizophrenics or temporal lobe epileptics. Their morality is dictated by an invisible friend called Jesus.
