Tony Blair leaves the Anglican Church to become a Catholic

Until his recent conversion to Anglicanism, the broadcaster and author Michael Coren was one of Canada's best known Catholics

It is my understanding that Anglican is basically the same as Catholic, based on what one of my friends from England told me many decades ago. When he moved to the US, he went to a Catholic church when he couldn't find an Anglican one near him. Their priests get to marry; there are probably other small differences.

I haven't got the patience to read this article, but I'll have a go at summarising blind.

They're both shit sandwiches - one dressed with a balsamic vinagrette, the other with a mustard sauce & croutons. I'd be only very slightly interested to hear how close I am.

You'd think an article on Catholic vs Anglican would make SOME mention of Henry VIII's need for divorce!
It's all rather hilarious when the author of "Why Catholics are Right" defects from said institution.
This same pundit who announced Conrad Black was innocent, perhaps with an eye to his future as a newspaper
columnist.

I'm more surprised the author made no mention of the relative flavour of dressings on shit sandwiches.
