It simply cannot be this easy to get rid of such a needy leech as Bovina was for more than three years.

Did we just stumble on the happy effective formula for varmint eradication or is the evil cow just off in a corner with her benighted cats, sulking like a grade-schooler?

Maybe she just doesn't want to "appear" in public while the many transgressions of her favorite popie are dragged into the open light of truth.

I have a feeling that if she goes she will actually be missed by many here, even though it would be very hard for anyone to admit that.

Yeah, I'll miss her. But so what if I also can't stand it when she's here?

How many ex-smokers, recovering alcoholics and other addicts don't miss their drug of choice? Does merely missing a thing make it worthy of pursuit?

Not as much as we used to, apparently, or the vote to contain her would have gone a different way.

Maybe they didn't want to vot out of fear of bovine retribution.

I miss that very early potential to have a sane discussion with someone sporting a working brain. My disappointment is profound and prolonged.

I, for one, will freely admit that I miss her every bit as much as I miss my last hemorrhoid. OK, maybe a little less than that, but not much.

Healthy genes act as team-players. They are teamish!
Their winning plays are
salvations of an aliveness of which they are a part.
Only a fraction of genes are selfish/parasitic (and they
parasitize teams).
