We should be able to see the important part in the Eastern US.

It's very cool!
We have a very bright clear night in SE England! Yipee!
At 8.00pm we had a delightfully bright full moon and starry sky ...
... and now there is a definitely very chunky chunk out of the bottom left corner ... and it's growing!!!

This is the first eclipse of the moon that I've seen! :-)
Now am popping outside again ...

Healthy genes act as team-players. They are teamish!
Their winning plays are
salvations of an aliveness of which they are a part.
Only a fraction of genes are selfish/parasitic (and they
parasitize teams).

That was even more awesome than the Cap'n folks!

The best thing is how, with the curved shadow / arc-of-light across the moon, the planet becomes totally THREE-DIMENSIONAL! Suddenly, instead of our bright flat disc, there is a real 3D globe out there, a world, real f***ing planet, right there in our back yard! It's totally like sci-fi! And you can see the arc-of-light in real-time slipping of the planet, plunging it into the dark. Wow! It's seeing a "sunset" happening (okay, an eclipse) on ANOTHER WORLD!! Really thrilling folks!! :-)

Yeah, pretty cool. I saw one years ago. Speaking of the cap'n, did he finally get his fatwa wish fulfilled, or something? He hasn't posted in quite awhile.

Well I saw the moon get completely obscured, but it didn't go any crazy colours or anything, just a dark grey. Hard to see much with all the lights around here though.

If you had ingested peganum harmala while watching the Eclipse you would have seen all of the colors and also talked to the disembodied Selenites that dwell there...

Christians and other folks infected with delusional beliefs think and reason like schizophrenics or temporal lobe epileptics. Their morality is dictated by an invisible friend called Jesus.

Here on the south coast it was a fantastic red colour, and was a good show in a clear night sky. Its now appearing as a half moon, and a sea mist has rolled in from the channel, which makes it kind of spooky…..

You lucky bastard! I envy you

Here in the west coast of Mexico/US we could only see a yellowish moon with a yellowish/orange kind of ring around it. It was very pretty but I am pretty sure it was nothing as beautiful as what you guys saw over there.

Congrats, PA!

It was cloudy & snowing here, so I didn't get to see it. :(

Fortunately, I've seen a couple of other ones.
