I mean, weren't you the same poster who recently had a problem getting the YouTube coding to work for you on this forum? I'm just saying that a lot of this "computer stuff" is deceptively simple looking but is, in reality, confoundingly complex for a lot of average users.

I probably shouldn't even be on the damned thing, myself, since I honestly don't have a clue how a lot of it works. All that said, I did learn a long time ago that a good anti-virus program is essential for Microsoft users.

*Sorry if I sound like a scold, but I genuinely felt sorry for that GM guy in your anecdote. I don't, personally, expect GM execs to be any smarter than the rest of us when it comes to web-surfing. That and running a major auto company are two entirely different skill sets.

I never did understand that line of thinking, that everyone should know everything and know it equally as well as everybody else. What is the point of that? That would be really boring. (And mean none of us would have jobs, really) And not give us anyone to make fun of.
