So, our mouldy little country with an established church finally confirms that its own guidance on collective worship is a complete load of crap.

The Department for Education has confirmed that its own controversial guidance on collective worship can be ignored by schools. The guidance, published in 1994, stipulates that worship in schools "should be concerned with reverence or veneration paid to a divine being or power."

Although the 'requirement' is still there for daily worship of a christian character (whatever that means) school heads are now able to interpret & ignore the law as they see fit. Beats me why the whiney gubbmint twats don't just rewrite the rule books and have done with the horseshit for good.

Today, the Supreme Court ruled that local city councils can start their meetings with prayers, even if those prayers are predominantly those of one particular faith.

The constitution says no law shall be made that respects establishment of religion, and now the Big Boys appear to have said 'fuck that - carry on muttering to the christian lard all you want - we ain't gonna stop ya'.
Methinks this slope is indeed slippery - so how do you get rid of fuckheaded judges?

It will just make me cry 😢. We desperately need term limits not only for Congress, but for judges as well. These appts should not be longer than a decade. But that will never happen.

Pleased to read that a hoard of Jocks have suggested their school packs in the praying.

In just three days over 300 hundred students at a Scottish High School signed a petition against compulsory Christian assemblies.

The petition says that the assemblies at North Berwick High School are "discriminatory and outdated" and that there should "be no religious influence" in schools, or at least that other faiths besides Christianity should be represented.
