In th e old testament it was often the case (as in Elijah) that the teacher and student would go out for a walk and only the student would return [see Cain and Able too]. Then the student would tell a fanciful tale about angels "taking him up" to heaven, much like in the new testament where Mother Mary experiences the Assumption. It is almost as if these people were bumped off and great delight was had at explaining their demise... I dunno .
Why on earth do people have to believe that anyone came back to life? Rank, position I suspect. As an exercise , the mental workout of believing that you can live forever just by "believing on christ" puts hollywood to shame. Oh well, it's either that or board games [ouiji].
