Raymond Lahey, confident that a man of the cloth, especially a Catholic Bishop, would be above suspicion and treated accordingly, went through Canada Customs carrying his notebook computer when returning to Canada from travelling. Surprise! Customs checked and found the computer loaded with kiddie porn, 155,000 porn pictures that included naked young boys wearing rosary beads and crucifixes. Wow, that's a LOT of wank material! Poor Raymond got a 15 month jail sentence but only served eight months.
We know that religion stifles critical thinking, but you'd think that a Bishop would at least get some advice from fellow perv priests. Just encrypt the porn, upload it to the cloud, delete it from the computer, and, when safely home download from the cloud and decrypt. Not too swift, these theologues! Until such time as the RCC does actually hand their offenders over, they have no cred. I even see in other fora where some of the laity are saying the pope should resign over this latest "revelation". Resign, hell, he ought to be in jail.
