All I'm saying is irreligion is not a faith. Atheists, like everybody else, are susceptible to placing their faith in any number of things and propositions. However, the claimed existence of a god is not one of them. Otherwise, the word atheist makes no sense.

Atheism addresses only what one does not believe. Nothing more.
