Is there some kind of detriment to having a mod that I'm unaware of? Choobus and Phil's objections notwithstanding, most everyone was in agreement that since Tenspace is no longer with us, it might be a good idea to put a 2nd mod on. Were there problems before? Seriously, I don't get it. What is the detriment?

Fair enough, I respect that opinion. I disagree, but I respect that opinion. I guess I didn't understand the tone of Phil's post, in particular, if the thought is simply, "I don't really think we need another mod." His tone suggested that it would be detrimental to add another one.

For the record, here's why I think we do need another one: It's been quiet lately, but when this suggestion came up we had quite a few trolls show up in a short period of time. While some people get kind of pissed off, I couldn't care less about the trolls we get around here and the things they say. What pisses me off is that when they do show up, everybody feeds them, (I'm guilty of that myself sometimes) and it's impossible to have a conversation about anything else.

Spammers, multiple users, and such can be dealt with at any time. But I simply prefer the trolls to be expelled right away so we can enjoy this place. Chris is rarely around, Tenspace is gone, and Eva can't be online all the time.

i am here most of the time except on weekends....
the trolls are annoying, but mostly they are fun and you guys love them like a puppy loves a chew toy...
yes, some of you want/need another mod, but it is not because of the trolls......

Some trolls are fun. Specially when they have a little bit of a brain. Have you ever seen a cat play with a bird they just caught and killed....? Playing with a troll is kind of that.....
