There is much wailing and gnashing of teeth on the eastern shore of the pond this morning, over the leaking of the entire membership list of the British National Party onto the internet. Some of our American friends may be unfamiliar with this selectively humanitarian champion of the underdog, although you'll probably have guessed the tenor of its political stance from the name. Many members are now reappraising what they mean by the phrase 'proud to stand up and be counted'; fearing for their livelihoods, social status and front windows in equal measure.

The blog which blew the whistle has been taken down now, but not before the horse bolted and numerous copies had been made. It makes interesting reading. Particularly interesting are the members stated hobbies and interests. Active Christians are well represented. A few examples:

• Devout Christian lay preacher (non-conformist churches: Baptist, United Reformed, Presbyterian etc).
• volunteer work at Wakefield Cathedral within the Law Ministry
• Tour guide (Peterborough Cathedral)
• Anglican Society, Open Doors, British Israel World Federation
• Hobbies: lay-reading (C of E)
• Born Again Protestant Christian. Founder/organiser of Durham British-Israel Fellowship
• Member of Institute of Surveyors. Practising Catholic

And here to prove it are two of them with their knuckles most definitely up in the air.

This membership leak haas been an interesting little ride, I think it speaks volumes that the police are not allowed to be members of the BNP. Being able to put names too faces changes nothing about who they are and what they want.
This isn't the first time the religious have been spotted within its ranks either.

The British National Party grew out of a party called The New National Front, which was a group that split from The National Front in the early 1980s.

The BNP was founded by John Tyndal (on the left in the picture below) who also founded the National Front. He was jailed in the '60's for race crimes. The BNP manifesto still calls for the repatriation of all immigrants.

BNP voters have lowest IQ

THE brightest children go on to vote Liberal Democrat or Green, according to a survey.

The study by Edinburgh University researchers has found that childhood intelligence is linked to voting preferences and political involvement in adulthood.The study – which looked at voting patterns in the 2001 general election – found that those with higher IQ ratings were more likely to vote Lib-Dem or Green in an election.

The survey – including cognitive tests at ages five and ten – was followed up with a study of voting habits at 34. Those who voted Green had an average IQ of 108.3, with Lib-Dem voters just behind at 108.2.

Conservative and Labour voters were further behind – with scores of 103.7 and 103.0 respectively, while voters for Welsh nationalist Plaid Cymru scored an average of 102.5. Scottish National Party voters had an average IQ of 102.2. The research also showed that British National Party voters had the lowest average intelligence – scoring just 98.4. Non-voters were found to have an average IQ of 99.7.

In 1991, the BNP newspaper gloated after several BNP supporters stabbed an African immigrant at London Bridge station. The victim had his “kidney surgically removed”, the paper boasted.

Despite claims to be more moderate and democratic, BNP publications regularly proclaim the genetic superiority of the white race. Wherever they win an election there always follows a huge ramp-up in race crimes ... +300% in Millwall.

The BNP has a record of numerous of their candidates giving false addresses, of conning people into signing nomination forms, of their councillors, when elected, not attending council meetings. In the House of Commons 50 MPs signed an Early Day Motion condemning the BNP’s actions. It read, “This house deplores the unlawful action of the racist and fascist British National Party in once again breaching the Representation of the People Act”.

Griffin and the BNP maintain active links with the KKK and all of Europe's far right parties. Speaking to a private nazi meeting in the US in 2001, Nick Griffin admitted that the party’s new-found respectability was simply a tactic to con the British people. “My politics have not changed,” he told the audience of racists and nazis. “I still believe in fighting for this,” he added, pointing to his white skin.

Apart from Griffin's racist criminal record here are a few others to consider:

Tony Lecomber (Group Development Officer). In 1985 he was convicted on five counts for offences under the Explosives Act, including possession of homemade hand-grenades and electronic timing devices. Sentenced to three-years imprisonment.

In 1991 he was sentenced to another three years imprisonment for unlawful wounding for his part in an attack on a Jewish schoolteacher whom he caught trying to peel off a BNP sticker at an underground station. He has a total of 12 convictions.

Colin Smith (South East London organiser). Has amassed a total of 17 convictions for burglary, theft, stealing cars, possession of drugs and assaulting a police officer.

John Tyndall (founder of the BNP). Six convictions. In 1962 he was jailed for organising a paramilitary organisation. Four years later, he was again sent to prison for possession of a loaded gun. In 1986, he was convicted for incitement to racial hatred under the Public Order Act and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment.

Warren Bennett (Chief Steward). Supposed to keep order in the party yet has convictions for football hooliganism. In 1998, he was deported from France with over 50 other Scottish hooligans, including several BNP members.

Steve Belshaw (East Midlands BNP organiser. Was convicted in 1994 for assaulting a lawyer in his home-town of Mansfield. At the time, Belshaw combined his BNP membership with Combat 18 activity.

Kevin Scott (North East Regional Organiser). Was convicted in 1993 for hurling a glass at a black customer in a pub.

Alan Gould (Waltham Forest Organiser). Was convicted in 2000 for racially abusing people in a local pub. He told the court that it was the drink getting the better of him.

Robert Bennett. A leading activist in Oldham BNP during the 2002 elections campaign, Bennett has served five years in prison for the gang rape of a woman. He has also served seven years for armed robbery and has over 30 convictions in total.

Mick Treacy. The Oldham organiser has five convictions for violence, theft, and handling stolen goods

Darren Dobson. Found guilty of racially aggravated assault at Oldham magistrates in November 2001. Fined £300. Connected to football hooligans in the Oldham area, and has links to the nazi terror group Combat 18

Darren Hoy. April 2002, the BNP supporter was sent to prison for 3 months for racially abusing people as they left an anti-fascist rally in Oldham.

Recently Mark Collett, leader of the young BNP was shown by UK television's Channel 4’s Despatches to be an out and out Nazi sympathiser: “National Socialism was the best solution for the German people in the 1930s”, he told the cameras. “I honestly can’t understand how a man who’s seen the inner city hell of Britain today cant look back on that era [Hitler’s Germany] with a certain nostalgia”

A lot of us Brits are taking great delight in dropping a few of these retards a line or two.

I found one on the list I was at school with. He was a neighbour of my cousin's, and a right scummy family to boot.

He is not alone as last night proved; the SG and his many thousands of supporters across the broad spectrum of White nationalism in the UK will now close ranks solidly around John Tyndall – this will not stop him or us on a march to save the Cause and set it on the road to victory!

just a cut 'n paste of stuff I already posted at redcafe - man united - forum. We seem to have exposed one of the scumbags there. Moniker of UKBob. Then again we seem to have a fair share of racists on the forum there - Oldham being a hotbead of BNP support and not so far from Old Trafford.

Chills down spine remembering things- I was vaguely involved in a police action against these 'people' due to one of my patients being pulled into it and persuaded to do certain 'actions' on their behalf- just remembering his notebook that was given to me to aid treatment after it was found in his room- full of not very nice drawings and threats and much much more- may I never get another patient like him - and he was only 15! a real primary psychopath and one of only two true primary psychopaths I have treated (well assessed and attempted to corral more like)
