:lol:..well, on a lighter note, here is a pict ( shown on my Mac) of a pendant I just made for a friend. My friend and his two brothers will celebrate his mother's LXX birthday in Las Vegas ( I'm going too as his guest) and this unique pendant has hand engraved the images of her three sons. Their birthstones are above their heads, and there are 8 diamonds representing her grandchildren. I did a montage of of a photo he gave me to mold to a heart shape. This hand engraving technique is a lost art. It took me about 15 hours to do only the engraving, which is cutting into the gold with steel gravers following the ink drawing. The gravers had to be constantly sharpen after a few lines.
Here is photo of the creation ready to be casted.

After the top part ( blue wax) is casted and the stones set, the white gold heart shape plate is soldered. The pendant is ready to be engraved.

This is the result.

Very observant. He is the friend ( like a brother) that commissioned the work. I gave him a drinking Mug, with the image of me and him two years ago. I spend each Saturnalia with him and his family.
