Teasy little fucker this damn boson.

Quote:
This is apparently a rumor, but one probably leaked by physicists involved in the project. As Wired Science reports, there are tantalizing hints that the elusive Higgs Boson has finally been found via the Large Hadron Collider at the Franco-Swiss border
I bet them happy phizzicists are saving up for one hell of a piss-up!

It looks like the clever fuckers have finally nailed something.

Quote:
Cern scientists revealing results from the Large Hadron Collider have claimed the discovery of a new particle consistent with the Higgs boson.
I had to read up on some ‘physics for dummies’, but it still takes some grasping. Perhaps I’ll have to read a bit more.

On a side note, how long before some jerk finds details of the discovery in the bowels of the old testament?
.... and can we declare priests, imams and associated liars redundant?

Stop the Holy See men!

Exciting stuff. Hopefully the beginning of a new age in understanding. If not it should make for some great sci fi movies.

Priests etc have been redundant for ages, it's getting them to realise it that's the hard part.

Very exciting. If it isn't the Higgs it is something that seems to be exactly the same thing lol. Can't wait to see the data from future observations of the Higgs interacting with everything else. Monumental times for the whole of science. Really is as important as the discovery of gravity and our other 3 forces.

If they must persist then we just need to spread that it is because it makes him even less likely to exist. Whether it is true or not seems to be irrelevant, they never take that into account when spouting their shit so why should we.

Whilst real scientists have been getting on with digging out the elusive boson, apologetics dickwads have been preparing their *ahem* ‘arguments’ as to why finding it ain’t worth a goddam shit.

This Chugger recently wrote this heap of steaming shite containing so much wrong and fail, it can’t even get a toe-hold on the bottom rung of a total fail & wrong ladder.

Quote:
The Retarded Article wrote
The Higgs Boson particle, presumptuously called the “God Particle” by some physicists ...... which has yet to be observed .... the particle is god-like to such sadly deluded individuals .... many scientists these days would consider such a vague incident enough proof to satisfy their longings .... atheistic evolution still stands as scientifically impossible .... evolutionists consider the existence of the Higgs Boson “crucial to forming the cosmos .... its existence would not prove that the Big Bang itself could occur at all .... its existence would not prove anything in the end, but only allow evolutionists to cross one of the many chasms that stand in the way of their theory even being considered a remote possibility .... Bottom line: the Creation model still stands as the most logical explanation for the origin of the Universe—the model that matches the scientific evidence.
I suppose this is a measure of the value of an education via christain loonyversities.

Creation Model? I would love to see his version of the most logical explanation that matches the scientific evidence. Preferably somewhere very public so as many people as possible can know what a crazy cunt looks like.

Well by studying it, dark matter, gravity, multi verses, dark energy, etc will all be thrown into the light a lot more. What productive use that will bring only the future will tell us. I bet it is a lot more than a 2000 year old fable will bring us.
It is an underestimate to say that this is just merely amazing, it really is.
