Does everyone know that Sternwallow's favourite nickname for Lily actually means COWPAT in italian? Perhaps everyone knows, I don't know! But, just in case bovina was intended simply as a feminine bovine, ie. cow, I thought I'd check. Anyway, how delightfully twice apt. Healthy genes act as team-players. They are teamish! Their winning plays are salvations of an aliveness of which they are a part. Only a fraction of genes are selfish/parasitic (and they parasitize teams). |

I remember visiting my friend's family's country place, where we would go out and about and shoot (fresh) cowpatties with a pellet rifle, just to see it splatter.
