This actually isn't that big of a deal. All this is is Obama is not extending the troop pull-out date that was put in place way back in 2007 or something. The pact signed with the Iraqi's set the total pull-out date as December 31st, 2011, with the condition that we could extend troop deployment if we saw fit. Obama is not extending, so they are leaving Iraq by the deadline put in the agreement (that Bush signed).
Still, will be good PR for Obama, which he needs.

I don't think so. Those who loathe Obama will continue doing so, no matter what he does.
The only thing that might quiet his relentlessly vocal critics some is if the unemployment rate drops to Clinton era levels, but that ain't likely to happen. Otherwise, all Obama's really got going for him now (apart from his perpetually sunny disposition in the face of withering rebukes) is a comparatively weak field of Republican candidates vying to succeed him.
But, you're right that this deal was sealed under President George W. Bush. However, that doesn't mean Obama couldn't have fucked it up and given his critics even more ammunition. So good on Obama that he hasn't.

Especially when you consider that the tea-baggers are actually telling business owners to stop hiring people.

I, an American small business owner, part of the class that produces the vast majority of real, wealth producing jobs in this country, hereby resolve that I will not hire a single person until this war against business and my country is stopped.

Lindsey Graham is a foul douchebag, but there is a kind of honesty here. Fuckleberry was against intervention in the first place, now claims it took too long, now wants us to move in, build oil derricks and start drilling. (And he's against all infrastructure spending in his own country, natch.) What an unctuous ass.

One of the problems I have with “leading from behind” is that when a day like this comes, we don’t have the infrastructure in place that we could have. I’m glad it ended the way it did. It took longer than it should have. If we could have kept American air power in the fight it would have been over quicker. Sixty-thousand Libyans have been wounded, 3,000 maimed, 25,000 killed. Let’s get in on the ground. There is a lot of money to be made in the future in Libya. Lot of oil to be produced. Let’s get on the ground and help the Libyan people establish a democracy and a functioning economy based on free market principles.

sooo, libertarians want to make libya into what they hoped somalia would be...
One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

See these dogpet? Pressure sensors. Only 13 fish/sensor. Strap them to your ass and they'll tell you when you're sitting down. What do you say? You'll take eight then?
