This has been bugging me for a while, but it is not a critical problem.
The URL reported in subscription e-mails almost never gets me to the indicated post. The right post does come up for a millisecond or so then it is quickly replaced by some later post. It may be that this happens if there has been a page break after the post I want and before the one I get. It means checking the timestamp then manually searching backward in the thread for the post.

Possibly connected to the above: I get many subscription messages for each active subscribed thread, but not one for every new post. When I am out of e-mail touch for a week, RA messages can top 130 when I return.

Unrelated, Chris, can you e-mail me how to send you a check? I have needed to contribute something to the forum, other than bits of my tiny wisdom, for a long time.

i will forward this message to her via e-mail...i have her address too, so if you want, i can send it to you directly and you can send her what you want.
i also can say that you can send it to me and i could forward it to her without me stealing it. (haha) it has been done before. the forwarding, i mean. not the stealing.
oh wait...okokokok, it has been donebefore too, but not by me....that's what i meant...

mmkay?

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

They don't do.

Hint: Use "s", not "st".
