I just like the idea of anti-nominations, to keep the assclownery to a minimum.
I second the anti-nomination. Do we really want a mod who started a thread about banning people who curse?

fuck no!

Well, about the profanity....

I mean, profanity is just a crutch for those too inarticulate to express themselves by means of a competent usage of the diverse splendor of the language.

Just fucking remember that.

I'd nominate Irreligious. He's calm, unbiased, eloquent, and will usually listen to what everyone has to say, even people like Lily. Hes been infinitely patient with her.

Of course, this is assuming hed even want to be a mod.
Gee, Christ. Thanks for the vote of confidence, but there are so many others here much better suited for that responsibility. I've been posting here barely two months, and while I'm prolific, I can't profess to doing a good job monitoring all the threads here. Personally, I like the idea of Sternwallow as a mod. He's witty, articulate, even-tempered and smarter'n hell. I think I have a crush.

I know you're joking, because some of the most profane people here are also the most articulate (and witty, to boot) . I'm looking at you, Choobus.

.......cool........

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

I nominate Sam Harris. Of all of us here, Sam is very possibly the most intelligent and the most likely to not abuse his newfound power (probably because he'll never return).
