what about teamspeak? it's quite functional & should be free for this sort of forum. Though it does require a bit in the way of resources (there is a server & client).... but it's all voice over IP...

Eh, ive found over the years most people dont have microphones.. and those that do dont have headsets with them so you get massive feedback.
IRC would be best. If people Can work out how to work mIRC. |

As a mac user, I have iChat, and that seems to work fine.

Nah, the people on that network (ops anyway) don't do crap. There's much worse channels than the one I made.
