Nice pics. If I didn't know you were Brits, I'd think you were all hot.

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

Thanks for a lovely evening, folks. Mrs Waddlie said "it was nice to be sitting in a pub with people that didn't want to talk about X-Factor."

Dog's bollocks was tasty. Interestingly enough (or not as the case may be) the pub we ended up in was the scene of my first internet meet, with folks off the nme website in 1998! What are the chances?

Oh, and hugging the studge was as awesome as I remembered from the first two times.

Did you slip him the tongue like I asked you to, bitch?

I have better pics of the Knob Gobbler or whatever that pub was called, but this one really captures how you all looked to me at the time.

Bath is pretty cool, though it rained like hell that day. Abbey is an interesting stop, if a bit Christy:

Before I met you guys I had been toping liberally at Sam Wellers, The Porter, The Raven, and FishWorks (and then a quick one at The Old Green Tree; which is why in the above pic I'm under the table).

No trip to Jolly Old is complete without some excellent cuisine! In this London cafe they take the trouble to turn the food into puke so you don't have to:

I kid! Food in London was frigging great. Pescatori in Soho is the best Northern Italian/seafood I ever et, and I've et tonnes.

A fine trip all in all. Mille grazie to youse for coming out.

(When you take the underground from Heathrow, the recorded announcement on the Piccadilly line says "Cockfosters" at every stop. )

I also thought it was good to hug the Studge sorry I couldn't stay to imbide some alcohol- maybe a Friday night next time so's I can drink!! my patients tend not to like their therapist slurring through sessions and complaining of hangovers
