I am very happy to say that I've moved away from the Hellish frozen Jeebus-Hole that is Fargo. Living in the shadows of the Rockies in Colorado, still a red state, but MUCH more progressive around here than North Dakota. Living off savings right now (and my girlfriend has a great job that pays really well, so not living destitute), but I hate looking for work. The media-type jobs I've been working are few and far between, and having a degree in Philosophy doesn't really give you many employable skills.

Colorado is awesome country! Looking for a job is a really hard job! But, you are a smart and capable person. You'll dig something up eventually. In the mean time, do some hiking and enjoy life a bit. It's not like any of us are going to ever get rich.

I'm up in Fort Collins, I love this town. I'm really happy that I moved here (even though being jobless kind of sucks).

hey, look who's back!

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.
H. L. Mencken

I've been on here a while now, and whilst wanting to retain some anonymity, I feel it only right to share some of my identity. So here is a picture of me, from my younger days.

This is me and Mum watching Dad's stand up act.

Hello from New York!
Back to my life soon.

(i know I look really serious in this photo, but that's because I'm facing towards the sun, and trying really hard not to squint)

You got some real cupid bow lips there haven't you? Mine are more the shifty, lizard like, slit variety. Hope you're enjoying NY.

Yes, on both counts.

I have giant friggin lips. And because I have an underbite (where the lower teeth come out further than the top teeth), it sticks my bottom lip out. But that's okay because I have an incredibly weak jaw-line just to really make it look stupid.
