I'm planning on taking at least a few months off from posting on RAF which will most likely be between 3-6 months. I feel like I'm spending way to much time on the internet discussing atheism (not just this site) and that I am wasting a large portion of my college time that should be used for studying, homework, drinking and pussy.

I certainly intend to keep up on my RAF reading, in fact this is probably the only site that I will keep tabs on, but I am most likely going to ask Chris to close my account. I'm basically doing a complete overhaul of my time management skills and having my own priority intervention so I don't want to be tempted back to my old RAF ways. I'm basically doing this in all aspects of my life. I spend too much time on internet forums and youtube, I waste too much time watching tv and I figure It's about time I made some adjustments to my life. I will return when I feel like I've got things back on track. I wish you all good tidings and thanks for all the great conversations. Even though I won't be participating for a while I will be watching so keep on keeping on.

See you all in a couple months.

I probably should also get back to business…I got a 25 page paper due for my independent study class on comparative religion.

hey, instead of closing it, i can "ban" you for a certain amount of time, at which your account would become active again....that way, you don;t lose your old posts....what do you say?

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

With all these college students falling behind in their studies, I should start selling my old papers. Hmmm...

Wait just a minute-You expect me to believe-That all this misbehaving-Grew from one enchanted tree? And helpless to fight it-We should all be satisfied-With this magical explanation-For why the living die-And why it's hard to be a decent human being - David Bazan

I tried to do the same and I haven't posted since January. I wasn't supposed to return until March 24, but some supernatural force pulled me back. Strange.
