Do they have an "ignore" feature on this forum?
If that is all it takes, you'll be putting everyone on ignore soon.

No wonder you claim that there are few atheists that can keep up with you.

Hey, I didn't start with the "chew toy" thing. But since you are ready to start, see my previous post.
I did. Your introductory post did not offer a definition of this allegation. That is what I am asking you to provide now.

And be aware that I will not be playing this game on your terms. Before we even get to your theology, you're going to need to demonstrate that your premise is sound.

Now, you allege a god, so you will have to define it, so we know precisely what it is you're talking about.

Well, Irr, he just gave you the general description of Jesus, thinking he can cleverly avoid having to define the actual God, not his alleged human manifestation.

whatever chumming we did to attract this one, we definitely have to do again.

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

Well, it's "seminary", and I'm in an Anglican seminary - more than a match for George Carlin atheists...

Two arms, two legs, two eyes, one nose, intellect, emotion.

Yes, he was a man at one time.

Don't you know this stuff?
I know what's alleged by many.

So, your god is a man or was a man at once time? What is he now? Describe him. What does he look like? May I assume that you allege to have firsthand knowledge of this entity? How were you able to access it/him?

So, let's put aside our initial differences, and introduce ourselves.

I am a weak or agnostic atheist (whichever term you prefer), I am in my early 40s, married to a wonderful (Catholic) woman, and have 2 young children.

How about you?

And how many guys do you sleep with at night? Do they lock you up in those little tiny, barren rooms, with only each other and your jeebus to keep you warm?

Edit: This is not directed at you, nkb

Well, since you seem to be the only one with a brain so far, you and I will continue from here.

By the way, telling me we are playing the game by my rules then proceeding to give them to me is not going to fly.

Um, Kate, you're making the life of a seminarian sound mighty enticing to some of us here. Desist, please.

hope you are not a brit, because our british invasion tends to be nice...it would be very dissapointing....
