Close enough, for the sake of this discussion.
As I mentioned, I had not seen any of the posts (until just now), so I was just piecing it together.

ubs,
I seriously don't get it. Obviously you have other issues with the Professor, that's not news. But, can you explain where PC was supposedly being dishonest?
|
ubs,
I know there's been a lot of traffic on this thread recently, but could you please answer the above question?
What exactly was dishonest about PC's behavior on this issue?

OK, but how is that dishonest, and how was he trying to cover up?
Whether it was spam or not is debatable, but you do understand that it is the job of the mods to make that decision, and act upon it as needed.
And, if I'm not mistaken, none of the mods have disagreed with PC's decision, so it really comes down to a disagreement of opinions, doesn't it?

There were three, each one addressed a different atheist assertion. It wasn't spam.

No man, you know that's wrong. There are any number of atheist posts in this thread more inane than that post.

And you understand that in the mod position a person has some responsibility for integrity and maturity.
He could have said. "UBS, You know I don't like theist posters and I may have over reached that time, oh well."
Instead what he did was lie and then do his usual marginalizing of the person that disagrees. The witch hunts are old, nkb. Really really tiresome. And they've really had a long term negative impact on the community.

But it's not a matter of inanity, but of spam.

And you could have said, "Sorry PC, you know I don't like you, and will nitpick anything you do, because I blame you for the downfall of this forum, but I may have overreacted."
But, that's not your position either, is it?

Where did he lie? You asked him what happened, and he told you he thought it was spam. Where are the lies?
After that, you called him a shithead, and accused him of all sorts of wrongdoing. I wonder why he marginalized you.

Which witch hunt are we talking about now, the one where theists are banned for no good reason, or the one where women are marginalized, just because they're women?
Because I have news for you, I see no evidence of either.

are you saying that making a (wrong, as you say)call as to what is spam, means that the mod lacks integrity and maturity?
One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

He knew it wasn't spam. That's why it took so long for him to disclose it. Otherwise he would have produced it right away. So his lieing showed a lack of integrity. A mod posting shit pics because someone disagrees with him shows a lack of maturity appropriate to the position.
I'm smiling like a chick that just had ten hours alone with Vin Diesel. I see that some here find comfort in continuing to call the blue sky green, and that's fine. I anticipate that the green sky declarations, like the Vagina thread and the black market expertise will, in time, provide me with hours of entertainment.

Seriously, ubs, what is more likely?
There's a big conspiracy afoot to ban theists for shits and giggles, and all the mods and members (except you) are in on it, or that you're overreacting, partially because you have some issues with Professor Chaos?
