I just saw the score update. Holy shit!
Good thing I recorded the game, I'll be watching it tonight.
And, tomorrow is the return leg of Bayern against ManU (without Rooney, if Ferguson can be believed). Trying to decide whether to take a half day, and watch it live.

I guess the game tomorrow will be a more normal game. The game today was so one-sided. It is really not normal at this level.

You look at the score before you watch the recorded game? What kind of fan are you?

I'm not a fan of either team, so I like to see the score before I spend 90 minutes watching a potentially boring game.
When my team plays, I have very strong willpower to not check the score, so that when I watch, it's like watching it live (except I get to skip halftime).

You have to take into account that Arsenal were missing a good chunk of their team, including Fabregas and Arshavin. Most teams that lose that many players will look grossly inferior to a full strength Barca (and I hear that Messi kid isn't bad).
That's why I'm hoping that ManU will look worse than in the first game, because this year Rooney has carried that team on his back. I just don't see Berbatov coming even close to replacing him.
Also, Bayern get almost everyone back. Robben announced that he is fit, Schweinsteiger is back from a suspension, and Gomez might be able to start. Good times!

Barca were missing their central defensive unit NKB. They are just lightyears ahead of teamsd in terms of playing the ball around. Chelsea would offer , I think, their greatest test based on the performances last season. Inter may be a stumbling block. But arsenal are a free flowing side and were madeto look a division away.

They were missing Puyol, but still had Marquez.
However, the central defense had little to do, considering that the offensive motor of Arsenal (Fabregas and Arshavin) was missing.
On a side note, I was never that impressed with Puyol.
On a side, side note, Barca was playing without Ibrahimovic (not sure why), so that evened it out some.

So, are you watching Bayern's exit live? - or would you like a running mockery commentary.

Still deciding. May sneak out this afternoon, or just stick my fingers in my ears, avoid sports websites, avoid posts by you, and watch it later.
By the way, "Bayern's exit"? That's a strange way of describing the lifting of the Champion's League trophy in May, but I guess they would technically exit the competition after they won it.

All signs point to Bayern moving on:
1. ManU will be playing without Rooney, who has scored 90% of their goals (slight exaggeration).
2. Bayern will have all their players back.
3. Bayern have a 2-1 lead, and need just a tie (draw, for you Brits).
4. Bayern have never lost in Manchester in European championship play.
But, I have an uneasy feeling, because football very often doesn't follow common sense. What should be somewhat easy can very quickly turn into a fiasco.

I knew it!
That lying sack of shit Ferguson! Rooney is supposed to start today.
Fuck it, it'll be even more satisfying when Bayern move on.
