In the parking lot of my market today, I saw a car that was plastered with god-walloper bumper stickers. The one that really stood out for me said:

"Fight like a real man, get on your knees and pray."



I don't see how this can work, unless you plan to run away while your opponent is doubled over in a fit of laughter.

Amber Yust told HLN's Jane Velez-Mitchell on Wednesday night that she got the letter after she went to a San Francisco DMV office in October and successfully changed her name from David to Amber and updated the gender on her license.

According to Yust and her attorney, the DMV employee used her confidential personal information to send the letter.

"I have learned that the reason for the vast majority of gender change operations is the client's homosexual orientation," the letter dated October 22 states. "The homosexual act is an abomination that leads to hell."

Yust said she also got a pamphlet from a church, which she said contained offensive material directed at her sexual orientation and gender.

My mother(who is quite Christian) and I were wrapping up our Christmas shopping today, and at Best Buy I grabbed a gift card for my sister and brother-in-law, who are both doomed heathens like myself. They had quite a few designs, but I grabbed the one that said 'Happy Channukah'. My mom said, "Channukah? Why don't you give them the one that says Merry Christmas?" At that moment I saw the gift card that said 'Celebrate Kwaanza'. "Oh Fuckin-A!!" I said. My mom said "I give up".

She doesn't bash me for discarding Jeebus. I love her dearly.

My sister and her husband will get a kick out of their Kwaanza gift card.
