This definition is profoundly problematic in numerous ways.

Start with the idea of something always existing is not a scientific idea, in that it lacks a clear method of falsification. How can one scientifically test and measure your hypothesis? Same with “everywhere.” Prove it.

Also. Substance. That’s not a scientific word either, in this context. Energy is not “A” substance that we know. It is at best (me being generous) multiple substances, but even there that’s a less than precise thing to call it.

I would look at a new definition and work on finding an experimental means to invalidate your theory before cracking open the cold ones.

Thanks hertzy! Yeah I learned in school that he believed (and it was a predominant belief at the time) that all things possessed a soul in an order to heirarchy. From gawd to angles to people to animals to trees to rocks etc.

This would mean that even an actual piss pad itself would at some point have a soul. As well as the piss in it. People believe the craziest things.
