I don't want to alarm anyone, but....

my thread is gone.

Oh well don't matter.

So carrying on from the last, you think that your position is based on 'lacking a belief' however if you did lack a belief you wouldn't be here positing a lack of a creator, you would be lacking the belief of anything which there is no evidence for.

Such as:

-Evidence to justify any form of cause of existence;
- and an actually cause for existence.

So your "LACK" is rendered completely worthless. If you weren't taking an active position against one of things that you lack belief in, then it would be viable. But here you are, so it's not.

I was in the process of sweeping some of Jerry's unwanted drivel into his 'master crap thread' when my PC froze & crashed. Once I rebooted, the tread had vanished.
In case anyone gives a shit, I've asked our uber-mistress admin to see what happened and try for a miraculous resurrection, but in case I've accidently killed it, those of you with extreme masochistic tendencies can just carry on here - no doubt the whole tedious exchange will be repeated anyway!

Stop the Holy See men!

Just restore your backed up DB, don't say you don't have a lack of backups too?

I'm sure irreligious will have forgotten things he has the memory of a sieve.

NKB will have no idea how to formulate his atrocious analogies I'm sure they will only get worse.

Ilovejesus will just continue talking irrelevant shit.

Stoolspine can just cut and paste from other threads as per usual.

Jerry can continue to avoid answering anything that challenges his belief/non belief in a god/creator. Good thing the thread is binned, it was fucking as circular as you can get.

A theist is just an atheist with a space in it.

Does anyone plan to rationalise why you depend on evidence, when there's none for any type of explanation?

Makes more sense to be agnostic huh? Oh well...

What mean asking you to rationalise why evidence must be coming, and you focusing on my claim of 50/50?

Are you able to rationalise it beyond the obvious "we need evidence to know something"?

Jerry, a couple of times you have mentioned that you believe that Jesus was a real person.

Do you believe he was born of a virgin and resurrected after three days?

Do you believe he was a god manifest in human form?

If not, the Jesus of the bible can hardly be called a historical person as portrayed in the bible, can he?

No.

No.

I don't see any reason to doubt that he existed, nor inspired and taught a philosophy to live by, but I don't believe Jesus was a prophet.
