Overheard at an energetic family sports event: "Son Of A Beach Ball Basket!!!"

I am trying to tone down my language in real life, as I will have a talker soon enough. What am I to do during football season????

You're from Louisiana, are you a Saints fan? If so, there's probably not much you can do.

"Cheeses crusty. Got all musty. Got damp on the stone of a peach."
Mercedes Thompson, character in silly Patricia Briggs werewolf/fae/vampire series.
Not bad reading on valium and percoset. Suitably mindless
"I do not intend to tiptoe through life only to arrive safely at death."
Some drink at the fountain of knowledge. Others just gargle.

as the mother of a little boy who just discovered the intrinsic power of saying "owh shiiitt" for any and all situations, i welcome you to our humble forum, agfmama.
One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

Yep, I'm a Saints fan...although to be honest I turned off more games than I watched last season. They love to let you down......

Before the advent of digital photography, I used your film all the time.
I suggest you brush up on and practice assiduously your best euphemisms.
The following bad-word-free passage has done great service for me when the natural "asshole" is needed but the present company is too delicate to hear it:
" Black-hearted villainous miserable beastly misbegotten son of Satan".
Well practiced, it can roll off the tongue with modest grace and ease.

I'll have to try that one...

Hey Sonya, welcome to our little nest and I hope we all learn a lot from you and vice versa.
I always liked the name Sonya, it has such a nice flow when it rolls of my tongue. Whenever I hear... wait for it *drum sound effect* ...wait for it... SONYA... I always imagine a hot brunette standing there and speaking these words in a nice British accent, "Don't even dream about taking me into bed Mr. Bond, cause I'm Sonya!"
SONYA... anyway, I hope you enjoy your stay, and I'll just shut up now.

Well, you just have to change it to a redhead with a Southern accent....
And I totally would have went to bed with Sean Connery James Bond. Never Roger Moore, George Lazenby, or Pierce Brosnan. The Daniel Craig Bond just scares me....
