Because I am not an atheist, and people who have seen my posts know that I'm agnostic. And I do worry about what happens after death.
If you are an agnostic, you wouldn't care about afterlife, agnostics are not supposed to believe in a personal god who will punish you if you masturbated or will reward you in heaven with whatever they give you there. So you either die and die for good, or die and come back as ghost :b

I thought the video did a good job of trying to visualize what the people were saying anyway. It is true that it is a lot of scare tactics--but I do wonder if what these people like the woman who committed suicide said is true. I am not really sure. It's hard to know because I think so many of these people may simply be out to make money or spread an agenda they had already before they had a near-death experience.
You may experience thing while you are dying because you are scared and thinking in god, or whatever it comes to your mind. But even though you are dead the brain still working for a short time so you have time to make all this crazy things in you head, is like when people try LSD, mushrooms or other hallucinogenic drug and say they had an epiphany and think they talk to god or something, it's all the same, the only difference is that the gdrug here is fear to death, and that is what religion has been doing.

“'I am offended by that.' Well, so fucking what." Fry

Another thing about the video is that, assuming that you DO believe in hell, I think it's rather obnoxious to make the claim that all people that commit suicide go to hell. I generally think that people who commit suicide do it because of horrible life circumstances like going homeless, not because they are being selfish.
Did you know that only about 5% of NDEs are negative. This video is rather one-sided. People who commit suicide do not go to hell forever.

The only being worthy of a place like hell would be its architect.

Years ago I had an experience like the ones in the video. After my experience I started to study Theology, Psychology, Philosophy, and other related subjects. I was, and still am, able to have spiritual experiences. I don't fear death and no one else should either.

It is OK to fear death if you wish.

Death's a given. I'm more fearful of the heaps of steaming bullshit that sucks in an abundance of credulous dolts.
