There used to be concentration camps in Ireland and they were run by the catholic church. They are known as the Magdalene Laundries. I'm sure a lot of you guys know about this history, for those that don't it is truly shocking.

Yup, it's amazing how such an 'organisation' can remain above secular law.
The catlickers probably have a more tarnished history than the talented, benign Costa Nostra.

@Kinich Ahau: Yes, we are familiar with the shocking details of the Magdalen Launderies. The monsters who ran these and brutalised young children were, of course, the supposedly saintly nuns. Similar brutal treatment was inflicted in many Children's Homes by priests.
I suppose I should have specified that I meant Concentration Camps run by the Irish State. Although you could argue, entirely fairly, that the State preferred not to know and looked away. That is what the criminal Roman Catholic Church expected Enda Kenny to do and he didn't. They now want to intimidate him by a fatuous comparison with Hitler. The RC hierarchy are composed of scum. Human detritus, devoid of humanity, hypocritically claiming to follow one way of life (celibacy) while inflicting their perverted lusts on children. And a Pope who covered this up.
What also disgusts me is the soft line still taken by the UK government and the BBC, both infested with RCs in high positions, and determined against all the evidence not to tell it as it is. The BBC, while welcoming Catholics, including Ratzi as an honoured guest on one occasion, on their dire Thought for the Day while banning (censoring) secular opinions. The Ratzi appearance was a disaster: banal and boring. Worse than many of the other contributions and, I kid you not, they set a standard so low that it has to be heard to believed.

A nice little piece from the Belfast Telegraph on the self-destruct tendencies of the katlickers.

The Vatican has long been said by those who know it to be a nest of vipers. But, recently, the poison has been laid bare for everyone to see as leak after an embarrassing leak has revealed an institution at war with itself.
Already this year we've read about documents warning of a death threat against the Pope, widespread nepotism and corruption, exiled whistleblowers, gay smear campaigns and embarrassing revelations about the Vatican's tax affairs.

Get on with it and be gone - but who do we pick on next?!

Religion supports widow burning.
‘The most sacred of Hindu scriptures are the Vedas, and the Rig Veda, the oldest Veda, explicitly sanctions the custom of Sati. The following famous `Sati Hymn’ of the Rig Veda has been recited during the actual immolation of the widow . Rig Veda 10.18.7 : ” Let these women, whose husbands are worthy and are living, enter the house with ghee (applied) as corrylium ( to their eyes). Let these wives first step into the pyre, tearless without any affliction and well adorned.’
