Stem cells from human skin

It looks like the heated debate about embryonic stem cells may become a moot point.

Of course, I don't see why it should stop embryonic stem cell research, especially if the new method turns out to be more complicated.

On the news, they said this could be used to... brace yourself...

GROW NEW HUMANS WITHOUT PARENTS! GASP!

I guarantee that some theists are going to be spouting some shit about "playing god" even if this totally replaces the "immoral" embryonic form.

Jinkies! Thousands of little mini-mes running around. Now, THAT would be scary. One of me is entirely enough. I understand that this can help a lot of very sick people?

It is theoretically possible to grow an entire human from a single pluripotent cell. It's more difficult with animals thant it would be with plants, but based on what we know it could be possible. After all, what is a very early stage embryo but a bunch of pluripotent stem cells?

I just want my wife to have more breasts. Not larger breasts, mind you. They're already quite large. But more of them. Can I rub stem cells on her chest and get her to have like 6, 8, 12 breasts?

You'd just get chapped lips trying to kiss them all, thus this might be a bad lifestyle choice.

I wouldnt leave the house if my wife/gf had 12 breasts. Consequently she'd never leave the house either so we'd both have to go on welfare and I guess it would be down hill from there. Nevertheless I love breastesses.

At least one on her back (preferably two), for slow dancing.

I think this was mentioned in the "Posts that don't deserve Threads" thread, and the conclusion was that this guy is into bestiality, and this was the only way to legitimize it.

What's the relevance to stem cells?

Ahh, got it now. Never mind me.

Interesting (and completely unrelated) note: My dog has 9 nipples. Not 8, not 10, but 9 (or is it 7? I forget. Either way, it's an odd number of nipples). One of the nipples lost its partner.
