The replacement organ would be grown on a penis-shaped matrix seeded with cells from the patient's own body.

How long till someone gets the worlds first 3 foot penis transplanted onto them? 5 years?

They didn't go into very much detail. Are they saying that they got a "penis shaped matrix" and placed stem-cells in it? I wonder if they attached the new penises or if they just grew them out of the rabits "groin area" using transplanted stem cells.
