Unaware of the quote it was responding to...

Speaking about believing in silly things.

But seriously, I doubt you can actually have faith in those things. You might be able to push yourself into a mental delusion, but to actually have faith that those things are true, especially given the futility and arbitrary unimportance of those things, would be a serious mental feat. I don’t have anywhere close to that ability in faith.

But believing in God and Jesus, that's not mental delusion, nooooo!
Is he maybe, subconciously, starting to get why we think his beliefs are retarded?

He is truly unaware of the fact that his beliefs fall into the category of delusions, due to extensive brainwashing, carried out as a matter of course by religion. He cannot see that he is speaking in contradictions. And the true footprint of effective brainwashing: he will become hostile if you suggest it.

Reality for him is probably a far cry from anything we'd consider. Look at what he's wearing! Ack. Why the ridiculous dress and red shoes? Why not a nice polo shirt and chinos? Or shorts, a Grateful Dead t-shirt and Jesus sandals? At least it would show he's TRYING to keep up with the times.

Why is there a picture of a sheila on his hat?

I thought that was a picture of Jesus. Oh well, it really doesn't matter. Either way, it's a part of an archaic outfit.

I thought that was the virgin but on closer inspection there are a couple of sheep, so you are probably right.

Once again, beliefs, positions and behaviors are falsely attributed to me. The very first post in this thread states there are to be quotes from "resident blood-drinkers".
I am forced to conclude that the atheists here are INCAPABLE of debating anyone unless they are fundamentalist Christians. If they are not of that category, the atheists artificially and constantly claim they are.
