I think I need to confess to somebody that I really did go search out this site.

CatholicScience was created by Michael Baruzzini in 2010 to fill a need for Catholic homeschoolers.

The Catholic Faith has a rich intellectual tradition of philosophical and theological thought on science. We bring this Catholic approach to science into all of our courses.

I wonder if they teach in the Galileo tradition of astronomy? .... and I'll wager birth control gets a poor write up in Biology.

Thanks, Smelly. That was quite informative. It never occurred to me that science could be a sectarian discipline.

Then again, Christian Science has been around for a while now, but I always thought that was just theology, which has nothing at all to do with application of a universal scientific method.

The problem for these clowns is that true knowledge and the process of learning goes where the evidence leads - they cannot follow a static ancient book.

People don't cultivate thinking. They are encouraged to be lazy and take the easy way out. Eventually, they just believe whatever's easiest or most persistent. Path of least resistance....

It looks as if the 'let's get our buybull into science' crowd is on a roll.

The governor of Tennessee has allowed the passage of the 'monkey bill', giving public-school teachers licence to teach alternatives to those mainstream scientific theories often attacked by religious and political conservatives.

No doubt a few lawyers will get fatter when this bollocks eventually finds its way to the courts.
