Hello from an Aussie Atheist...

Hello to you all from a true blue Aussie Atheist

Raving Atheists ... "Only Sheep need a Shepherd" ... it's all music to my ears.
A few quick pointers about me...
1. I was born a long time ago.
2. I love women. I have a deep and genuine affection for women in general.
3. I earn money as a Database Developer.
4. At other times, I have earnt a living as a Web Developer & Programmer, Professional Photographer, Air Force Navigator and also as a Sales person and a Bank Teller.
5. I'm a perfectionist (almost).
6. I leave pegs on my clothes line and then I group then according to their colour (comes from being a designer, but I think it's weird).
7. I refuse to spell colour as color. It just doesn't look right!
8. I'm keenly interested in Quantum Physics because it has the answers to everything. Astronomy comes a close second. Women come third in a photo finish.
9. I think it's about time militant religion was recognised for what it is, and what it is not. Fashioning fear from fiction, fallacy, fantasy and false fables has to stop.
10. I'm fed up with children being fed a diet of religious hatred and growing up to propagating misery for the rest of us.

Did I mention that I love women?

Well, that's some of it...
I guess above all this, I reckon it's time for Atheists as well as ALL other Free Thinkers (Dogma Free, that is) to stand up and be counted, and to let the rest of the world know that we've had enough of their crap and that things are going to be different in future.
This is the reason why I have created the Atheist Art website.

We'll just see how far this flies. I haven't checked? But I'm pretty sure this is against some rule they have here.

Your maritime sextant avatar tells me that you have an interest in sailing and possibly Navigation. Me too ... I was an Air Force navigator when I was younger.

I am at the stage in life when, even though I work as a database developer, I am no longer driven by the almighty dollar. I designed this medallion about a year ago, had it cast and began wearing it for myself. Other similar-minded people began to ask me to make some for them, so I did. After that, I began being called the Medallion Man. Then recently, it was suggested that I should make it available worldwide on the Internet, so I did. That's the full story. If there is a forum rule that disallows the mention of a website, then I am guilty as you have charged. But if this is the case, then why does the forum make provision for members' website URLs at all.

I'm more concerned about spreading camaraderie through the Free Thinking ranks and motivating us to action. So relax, I'm not here to sell you a medallion. I'm here to foster a groundswell of support for Free Thinkers everywhere. We have to do something constructive to stop this Fundie madness.
Believe it or not, we're on the same side :-)
