When virtually all of her posts are quoted and she involves herself in virtually every conversation in just about every thread, then yes. Cuntface.

The forum isn't dying because of Lily. It's perfectly capable of committing hara-kiri without her.

I disagree.

Of course it is. I didn't say Lily was the only possible cause of death.

You care too much about postings on an interweb forum. I’m perfectly capable of applying selective reading and filtering out her posts, perhaps you aren’t trying hard enough? Perhaps you enjoy e-drama?
It's fucking retarded to seek out a popularity vote on kicking someone who has done no wrong other than to voice her (twisted, imo) opinions. How fucking cowardly.
What you don’t seem to realize Professor Cutie Pie is that if everyone that did not want to have anything to do with her just ignored her every point and post she would eventually loose interest. And if there are several members that wish to converse with her, then how can it possibly be right and fair to ban her just because you’re ass is sore?
I don’t see how any right thinking person can think it is acceptable to ban someone just because you dislike this individuals opinions. Come on…

Suppose you were married and your husband - we'll call him Philrreligious - spent all day every day watching sports on your brand new flat screen.
Months go by, years, decades, and never once does Philrreligious notice your hot new underwear, your devotion to squats and crunches, your phenomenal cooking skills.
Finally one day you devise a cunning plan. You decide to sell the TV very quickly while Philrreligious is in the bathroom. Philreligious emerges and stares stunned at the empty wall. You wait breathless.
Unfortunately, instead of finally noticing you, he goes down the street to watch the neighbors flat screen. This leads to an affair with the neighbor and divorce.
The end.

I don't think Lily is even the immediate cause of death.
Cuntgate crystallised it for me. Longstanding members were treated like shit, and vilely abused, and have now left and are unlikely to return. It isn't the first time. It happened to Steve G as well on that thread he argued with Cal. That's when I started dropping away, now I come to think of it.
By the time I looked at those threads they were long dead so I didn't throw my two pence in. That's a decision I now regret.
Yeah, I know, free speech, if you can't stand the heat, etc. I'm not even sure what you and the other mods could realistically do about it. But fuck it, if I want infighting and bickering I can get it anywhere.
And yes, I know I've laid into people as well, and yes, I know this place has always had infighting and bickering but it used to offer something more. Now it doesn't.

I agree with you ADT, Cuntgate was what caused the biggest rift on this forum, and although Lily interjected herself into it (as she likes to do), she had nothing to do with it.
However, I don't agree that members were treated like shit or vilely abused. There was a major disagreement over the word, and tempers ran high, but I just didn't see any more venom than any other heated disagreement here.
Out of curiosity, what is missing that used to be here, ADT?

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be. I remember when I was younger, thinking back was so much more sentimental then.

Stuff like the wonder bone thread. We used to get a lot more of that. And the lack of intelligent theists who can put up a decent fight. I don't need to go on the internet to look in a mirror.
I dunno, I just used to enjoy it more here. I'm not going to join in the criticism of PC that flared up but I don't think he's anywhere close to the cause of this forum's problems when he blames it on Lily.
And I'll have to disagree over the abuse. Respectfully, of course. I read through the cuntgate thread because I like Gnositall and wanted to see what had happened and fucking hell, people, you wonder why this forum is dying on its arse? It was horrible. And the peanut gallery in Steve vs Cal was even worse.

If she's not going to be banned, then she shouldn't be allowed to post so many quotes from the bible. It is really sickening to visit the RA and read all those biblical quotes. This is the RA forum for fucks sakes!

I don't want to rehash the whole argument on that thread, but I guess we are seeing it differently. I don't deny it got overly heated, and tempers flared, but both sides carried the blame on that.
I will have to check out the wonder bone thread, as that doesn't ring a bell.
As far as intelligent theists, I agree. Quaker, Steve G, and to some degree Thomas, and Lurker, were all several classes above what we have now, and it is a shame. But, their disappearance happened well before Cuntgate.

She rarely posts bible quotes, to my knowledge. She does occasionally regurgitate the usual inane ramblings of the theists, but she's not even close to the worst offender on bible quoting.
