How to convert a Christian to Atheism
How would one go about converting a Christian to becoming an Atheist?
I found this site on converting an Atheist to becoming a Christian (I doubt the techniques work). http://www.wikihow.com/Persuade-an-A...come-Christian
Is there a similar site out there for converting a Christian to becoming an Atheist? I can easily demonstrate to Christians that their God doesn't exist - but they merely get pissed off at me when I do that.

Why would you want to convert anyone? That is what the theists try to do, atheism is not a religion. In my general experience people don't get converted, they get educated. This must be their choice and their choice alone.

Then let's agree to call the process of being converted from Christianity to Atheism the same as becoming educated.

No lets not. You are still implying that someone needs converting. Getting educated is not the same thing. People have a right to choose, and should do so. The closest you can come to anything along these lines is educating yourself and brushing up on your debating points, hopefully then if you are in a discussion you may make someone question their own beliefs. Beyond that, it is up to them.
It is not our job to convert or convince anyone. It is not our place, just as it is not the place of religion to mess in the affairs of government or education.

Then simply interpret the title of this thread to mean "How to educate a Christian that there is no God".

With something as personal as belief is to a lot of people, I still don't think you can educate them. Theists come here to educate us all the time, they get nowhere. Whether you call it educate, convert or whatever, it is still not our job. If approached we can make our points, discuss them, then move on.
Maybe the question should be "good debating points to stump theists" or something similar.

AND off it goes to start another thread.

Eternal had a good idea for a thread - so I started it. Is there a reason you need an explanation for everything?

It's called apostatizing. "How do you go about apostatizing a Christian to atheism?" would be a more correct sentence.
Christians! Want to convert some atheists? read this!

If a theist student gets a grade A in R.E, do they become a Grade A theist. Lol Might start a thread with this.
A theist is just an atheist with a space in it.

We'll soon have enough threads to weave everyone here a t-shirt.
