I already posted this but it was deleted. Just a suggestion, but maybe you could put up an Evolution thread alongside "Atheist vs. Theist" and "Atheist Morality" and "Atheist News", etc. It seems to be along all of the threads so is tough to weed out. Or maybe even call it "Evolution/ID".

I am in favor of it. Evolution isn't just for atheists. Many theists follow it as well. Also, it is such as hot topic anyways, we should give it its own category.

I don't think anyone is going to find this thread, so I need to post something to get it highlighted again.

I'll go with it. I seem to spend enough time arguing evolution that it would be nice not to have to look all over the board to prove that Salty's already been given a good answer.
If you see what I mean.

We should have the rebuttal threads always at the top of the list of threads.

Something like referring her to "Standard Answer #47", for instance? We could just compile a list of answers and tell her "Go read that one". That would save a lot of time. And the easy solution is to just have them all say.....DO YOU DO ANAL?!? (TM) :D HAH! I kill me!

Earlier requests to add to the forum categories have been met with stone cold silence.
I would have linked to such a "suggestion" thread, but I find that they have, shock-horror, quietly been deleted.
Hell will freeze over before they care to change the forums.
Suggest you use the Atheist Coalition Forums.
Healthy genes act as team-players. They are teamish!
Their winning plays are salvations of an aliveness of which they are a part.
Only a fraction of genes are selfish/parasitic (and they parasitize teams).

Pan, the top-level forum categories (General Discussion, Atheist vs Theist) aren't changing (I too think they could be better organized). However, feel free to start an Evolution Thread under General Discussion or Open Mic.
We had a Physics thread as well, but I think the recent board crash ate it.

I think what may be being requested isn't a thread but an evolution forum of it's own. Like some other boards have and evolution vs. creationism forum. That itself, would obviously require the administrator(s) to create it.

Yeah, there are tons of evo threads. Could certainly use a category of its own ...

We need a "Sciences" discussion category, where we could have threads for biology, evolution, physics, Choobus, etc.
I'll run it by Chris, see if she can talk RA into it.

I concur. Practically everyone here is more knowledgeable in at least one branch of science than the general population. Science, based on naturalism, is a cornerstone of atheism.
