Since I have to do some fine engraving and jewelry work, adding subtances to the beer that could open a portal to the gods making me see androginous campy Gabriel and vociferous Lucifer and converse with him like the Church fathers, is a no no. I have SO got to get an artifact from you! I'll be thinking about something really wierd that you can modify in an artistic way.....

Of course....I can make anything wierd and different....I'm concentrating on Jewelry pieces right now, but my costumers are regular folk. Ocasionally I have someone that wants something unique...then my brain goes in full gear..
Here is a beer mug I gave to a close friend as a Saturnalia gift ( x-mas 2005 ). I hand engrave the image from a picture I had taken at his home. I was taken a picture of myself when he stood behind me while doing it. Notice the Sidus Iulius of Caesar a top of my head. :) Here is my web page www.octavius-jewelrydesign.com

Man, Noah, you know how to pick a popular topic! This thing is smokin'. Nobody mentioned Anchor Steam beer here, yet. One of my favorites, that and Sam Adams Boston Lager.
:offtopic:
My favorite beer story is from when I was visiting one of my brothers. We went over to the liquor store, he got a los Pepsi and I got an Anchor Steam Porter Ale. I was nursing it along, and it was getting warm, and good and bitter. My nephew came over and wanted a sip of my "Pepsi". I didn't want to give him any, but my brother says, "Go ahead, let him try it". Well, now, you know he was expecting 12 tablespoons of carmelized sugar. The look on his face should be put on bottles of poison to scares little kids. Man, he was shuddering like a puppy poopin' peach pits. He said, "Icky Pepsi!". To this day, that is what we call beer when my bros and I get together. Now, the kid is a 220-pound fighting machine for the US Marine Corps. My, how things change in a mere 25 years.

No Kidding! I'm thinking about cutting and pasting all the responses into a checklist of drinks I haven't had yet.

Well, Sam Adams is pretty popular among this group. My favourite from them is actually the Boston ALE. The Old Feziwig Ale that they put out in their Christmas variety is pretty good too. They also have a new Black Lager that is excelent.

You don’t see particle physicists postulating a "Christron" that goes around making al the other particles behave. That would be asinine indeed. –Choobus-

Yeah, looks like I'll have to throw over the Budweiser for a few weeks and have some decent beer for awhile.

Yeah, a glass of Helicobacter Pylori mix on the rocks, please!
i got tested for helicobacter like 6 years ago (or pretty much after the test came out) and it was negative........but i haven't been at the hosp for them in years......however i got scared when i was pregnant because i got the worst heartburn ever and even had to call the doc at 11 one night.....it was awefullly painful...

One of the most irrational of all the conventions of modern society is the one to the effect that religious opinions should be respected....That they should have this immunity is an outrage. There is nothing in religious ideas, as a class, to lift them above other ideas. On the contrary, they are always dubious and often quite silly.

Crap, you're right! And considering I just polished off a 6-pack of their Summer Beer, I should have thought of them.

A costumer took this picture while presenting the design.....I could havse said in this picture : Anchor Steam anyone?......... Someone mentioned this beer and it is awesome!....

The chair of our department met this fellow a few years ago. She asked him, "What did that Helicobacter concoction taste like?" He replied, "Swampwater". A year later she met his acquaintance again and she said, "Something has been bothering me. How do you know what swampwater tastes like?" He replied, "I was in the military before I was a scientist."
