Weekly Photo #12: Frosting January 6, 2007

Here’s a photo, called “Frosting”, which I took of some of the wonderful lava at Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park in late September of last year. The whole place is amazing; I’ve got other pictures I’ll be putting up as time goes by.Now what, you ask, is that plume of steam in the background? Well, that is from where an active lava flow was meeting with the Pacific.
As I said, the whole place is amazing.
